Ami is a quiet and studious girl who dreams of one day becoming a doctor, just like her mother, whom she idolizes. Undoubtedly the brains of the group (her IQ is rumored to be around 300), Ami makes up for her less damaging attacks by providing useful information about the enemy and battle strategies. Her powers are water-based and she gets along very well with Luna. Ami is the second Senshi to join the team and often serves as the voice of reason.

In Crystal, her attacks are shown to deal much more damage than her Classic counterpart's.
