Black Cat Series
Train Heartnet became known as the Black Cat due to his skills and his
place as Number 13 in the secret society “Chronos”. With his gun Hades, he unfeelingly murdered uncountable people
at Chronos’ demand. This was until he met Saya Minatsuki, a bounty
hunter or “Sweeper” who teaches him the meaning of human life.
Enraged at how Saya had changed Train, Creed Diskenth, a fellow member of Chronos, murders Saya. Saya’s murder results in Train completely forsaking the organization and following a new life as a Sweeper.
On his new path, Train joins up with fellow Sweeper, the carefree Sven Vollfied, and later the mysterious Eve. Train believes his old life is behind him until Creed reappears, asking Train to help him overthrow Chronos.

"A shadow darts from rooftop to rooftop with a full moon at it's back, guiding it. The shadow stops before a old, decrepit church's monastary, takes a step back and breaks through the glass and descends to the church below, having already opened fire, the Black Cat had found his target."
The action in Black Cat is clearly it's selling point but it is a pretty well rounded show, it kept me interested from start to finish, but some sections are less interesting from time to time, but overall an enjoyable anime, though it could've had more depth honestly. I would recommend giving Black Cat a look.
This show was really good. It's kind of an interesting story, but I wasn't too fond of the animation. The action scenes were awesome, it was just the funky colors they would use I guess. Again, the voice talent was amazing. Anything with Jason Liebricht is awesome in my book. Anyway, I thought the show was really good, it'll have you crying by episode 6. Of course it being an anime, there were some filler episodes that I couldn't really comprehend at times. I think it was just one episode that I thought was so weird. The villain Creed is probably one of the craziest anime characters I have ever seen. He's got a god-complex and everything! Anyway, this show is kind of long...I can't exactly remember how many episodes it has, but it was good. I say check it out since it's pretty unpopular.
It is one of the best anime ever. Though action lovers might find it a lil' disappointing, the plot is great.
I really like eve from there, She's one cool and composed character, train hardnet is just awesome, the first or is it the only I forgot but non the less the best shounen with a gun. The way he handles his gun is just awesome, and his gun hades is sight to behold. I also like the organization chronos, they are awesome.
For those looking for Comedy, tragedy, friendship and actio this is an anime to watch.
I found this really entertaining, completely worth my time. The storyline was impressive, the sweeper story is completely original. I wish the story were longer though I have to admit it was a bit rushed. The art is beautiful and pleasant to look at, this is a series I'd love to re-read. Great plot and characters. Character designs are awesome, attractive, and distinct, no one character looks too similar to another and they mostly have unique personalities. This anime has pretty awesome gun fight scenes and a bit of entertaining humor with good anime opening and ending. I wanted to say Black Cat is never boring.
I love the manga. The anime is good too. But the manga is better.
Its about an ex-assasin, Train Heartnet (code-name: Black Cat), who stopped being a killer n become a hunter, who just hunt bad guys to get money. Along with his partner Sven, n later a cool n strong girl, Eve. The artwork is great. The stories are interesting. Creed (the main antagonist) obsession of Train looks kinda shounen-ai, though^^. Oh, n the songs sounds good too. It's Saya's song. I think no one would hate it. :)
OMG! TRAIN HEARTENET! KIYAAA!
I really liked this anime :) it was something diferent that you dont see everyday comedy action romace fantasy drama X)
So its like this: Chronos, an organization bent on world peace, rules one third of the world's economy. To maintain the balance of the world, Chronos is therefore essential, and there is a need for people to protect Chronos. Thirteen special elite assassins each possess unique orichalcum-forged weapons and are called the Chrono Numbers. :/ Train Heartnet nº13 also known as the infamous Black Cat, meets a Sweeper named Saya, Train's morals and values are changed from those of Chronos's to those of his own. Instead of killing his victims like he is ordered to, he merely uses Hades (his orichalcum gun) Creed a Chronos assassin, resents the way that Saya changed Train's life, and murders her. 2 years later, Train is an easygoing Sweeper, traveling with his partners Sven (who possesses a special eye that allows him to see a few seconds into the future) and Eve (who contains millions of nanomachines in her body, allowing her to transform herself at will). But Creed is a gerk so he still wants Train to join him XD Will he? :0
You have to Watch to be shore ;)
First of all, to be honest with you all. I did not enjoy this series as much as i thought i would like it mainly because of the plot and how it got fairly rushed in the end.
Story - The beginning part of the story i thought was very well made, it was very dark, mysterious but not scary at all for those who dislike scary storylines. But after a while the plot just seem dull and unoriginal. Typical protagonist trying to save the world, trying to protect his friends and trying to get revenge, all these types of storylines has been overused...but what annoys me that Train(the main character)was a very interested character in the beginning...he didn;t care about anything but after few episodes he became fool who wants to protect his friends and save the world and trying to be a hero...etc....
I'm pretty ambivalent about the whole series not only due to my loving the manga and the fact that Train is and most likely will ever be my favorite manga male lead. The first six or so episodes are just great even if they involve stuff the manga doesn't mention and change the plot timeline. But it was really nice to see more of Trains side as Nr. 13, Chronos assassin known as "Black Cat". The following development till the showdown with Cread was nice but nothing more (nearly most of all the awesome fights are left out) but the whole thing with Eve after that I didn't like very much. So for me the show gets slowly worse till the end leaving me with a disappointing feeling and probably with an opinion dyed by the aftermaths of it and the fact that I'm loving the manga so much :).
I love this one~
It used to be aired on TV, but as soon as the series finished, they changed the schedule and it was pretty much gone.
I like specially when those chibi kitties appear...
Kyouko was nice too.
Train Heartnet is known as the Black Cat for his quick reactions to attacks and his title as Number Thirteen as member of the secret society Chronos. He is an unbeatable master gunman, a cold and unfeeling killer until he meets Saya, a bounty hunter, or "sweeper". She teaches him the value of a human life, and that one should live in order to repent for one's mistakes rather than die because of them. Through her, Train learns to love and care for other people as he too becomes a sweeper and travels with his partner Sven and the mysterious girl Eve.
The intro was a bit misleading when I watched the first episode, Train Heartnet, a trained assassin, who had eyes cold
as ice and swift movement as he moves towards his target.
But in the later episode, he changed 180° from his old self. I was shocked at that major changes.
The anime had it all, humor, romance and action, we also got slight shounen-ai judging by Creed's 'interest' towards Train, that's what I thought.
My favorite character would be Creed Diskenth, cause he's twisted and he make me go 'kyaa'. Haha.
Very very good plot and funny characters. Loved it! =DDD It was a very cute story with some amazingly funny scenes and I still love it now, I would watch it a hundred more times since it was just amazing. The characters were seriously sexy ;)
Excellent: Viewed full anime series, manga still in progress of viewing :D
This was one of the first series I watched when I first started getting more heavily into anime at the time, and It's still one of my most faved series. Train is one of my all time most faved characters as well and you can't help but love cats lol. I will probably rewatch this most definitely at another time again.
I love every thing in this anime, both the drawing and story,it's so good.I just haven't had time to read Manga. It will be perfect if I have had ^_^.It's been awhile since I last saw it,oh so miss it...
Oh man.One of my all time favorites I must say.The characters are awesome. The progression of the story-line is excellent and the theme of the story just strikes me...hard.I mean I have the second opening song as a ringtone for my cellphone. If that isn't dedication,it's probably a mental illness.Either way. It's a pretty awesome series and I would give you my recommendation to watch it.
at the start, i like it.. in the end, i hate it. why? i was happy at the start since i thought that the main character has a special person beside him,.. and as the story continues, i was extremely frustrated when the special girl died! oh my! And as it continues again, Train saw a girl that looks like the special girl.. it made my hopes up. But still, it was gone. i dont like the ending. so so hate it!
