Black Cat is a legendary assasin who used to work for a syndicate named "Cronos" , but he left the secret syndicate for unknown reason. To pay for his betrayal, the syndicate later hire a bounty hunter named Train Heartnet to hunt him down.
During his journey, Train meet his long aquaintance Creed Diskence who later join him in his mission, along with Sven Vollfie, who got a keen eyes, Eve, a bio weapon, and a master of disguise Rin.
