Train Heartnet became known as the Black Cat due to his skills and his place as Number 13 in the secret society “Chronos”. With his gun Hades, he unfeelingly murdered uncountable people at Chronos’ demand. This was until he met Saya Minatsuki, a bounty hunter or “Sweeper” who teaches him the meaning of human life.
Enraged at how Saya had changed Train, Creed Diskenth, a fellow member of Chronos, murders Saya. Saya’s murder results in Train completely forsaking the organization and following a new life as a Sweeper.
On his new path, Train joins up with fellow Sweeper, the carefree Sven Vollfied, and later the mysterious Eve. Train believes his old life is behind him until Creed reappears, asking Train to help him overthrow Chronos.

Fallenkaze's Black Cat Tv Review

Rated: 7

"A shadow darts from rooftop to rooftop with a full moon at it's back, guiding it. The shadow stops before a old, decrepit church's monastary, takes a step back and breaks through the glass and descends to the church below, having already opened fire, the Black Cat had found his target."

The action in Black Cat is clearly it's selling point but it is a pretty well rounded show, it kept me interested from start to finish, but some sections are less interesting from time to time, but overall an enjoyable anime, though it could've had more depth honestly. I would recommend giving Black Cat a look.

I'm pretty ambivalent about the whole series not only due to my loving the manga and the fact that Train is and most likely will ever be my favorite manga male lead. The first six or so episodes are just great even if they involve stuff the manga doesn't mention and change the plot timeline. But it was really nice to see more of Trains side as Nr. 13, Chronos assassin known as "Black Cat". The following development till the showdown with Cread was nice but nothing more (nearly most of all the awesome fights are left out) but the whole thing with Eve after that I didn't like very much. So for me the show gets slowly worse till the end leaving me with a disappointing feeling and probably with an opinion dyed by the aftermaths of it and the fact that I'm loving the manga so much :).

I love this one~
It used to be aired on TV, but as soon as the series finished, they changed the schedule and it was pretty much gone.
I like specially when those chibi kitties appear...
Kyouko was nice too.

Train Heartnet is known as the Black Cat for his quick reactions to attacks and his title as Number Thirteen as member of the secret society Chronos. He is an unbeatable master gunman, a cold and unfeeling killer until he meets Saya, a bounty hunter, or "sweeper". She teaches him the value of a human life, and that one should live in order to repent for one's mistakes rather than die because of them. Through her, Train learns to love and care for other people as he too becomes a sweeper and travels with his partner Sven and the mysterious girl Eve.

The intro was a bit misleading when I watched the first episode, Train Heartnet, a trained assassin, who had eyes cold as ice and swift movement as he moves towards his target.
But in the later episode, he changed 180° from his old self. I was shocked at that major changes.
The anime had it all, humor, romance and action, we also got slight shounen-ai judging by Creed's 'interest' towards Train, that's what I thought.
My favorite character would be Creed Diskenth, cause he's twisted and he make me go 'kyaa'. Haha.

This show was really good. It's kind of an interesting story, but I wasn't too fond of the animation. The action scenes were awesome, it was just the funky colors they would use I guess. XD Again, the voice talent was amazing. ^^ Anything with Jason Liebricht is awesome in my book. Anyway, I thought the show was really good, it'll have you crying by episode 6. Of course it being an anime, there were some filler episodes that I couldn't really comprehend at times. I think it was just one episode that I thought was so weird. The villain Creed is probably one of the craziest anime characters I have ever seen. He's got a god-complex and everything! Anyway, this show is kind of long...I can't exactly remember how many episodes it has, but it was good. I say check it out since it's pretty unpopular.
