Very cool plot and some very cool and unique characters. The manga and anime are like no other and can suck you in with
just a couple of episodes or chapters and keep you in it until the very end.
The manga and anime differ from each other in several ways, but are both very enjoyable and intriguing.
AWESOME! The best anime I've ever seen!! Lelouch Lamperouge gets the power of absolute command from a mysterious girl
named C.C., and decides to fight the Holy Britannian Empire, which ruled over most of the world with an iron fist, to
create a peaceful world for his sister. The events follow each other at an incessant rhythm, with a thousand twists; the
characters are many and memorable, the main character most of all: his plans are always complicated but perfectly
logical, and his personality and character seem to change completely when he becomes Zero, his theatrical alter-ego. The
musics, including openings and endings, are beautiful, the designs is wonderful and the dubbing perfect. The end is
great, brilliant, even if shocking.
LELOUCH LAMPEROUGE: "If the king doesn’t lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?"
I absolutely love mind games! This one quickly captured my attention the minute I started watching it. What a dynamic
character Lelouch was! One with the motivation and intelligence to take, not only Britannia, but the entire world! The
storyline always kept me on the edge of my seat as I was trying to think of ways on how Lelouch would pull of the next
feat or what he was planning next. The music was a huge help as well, never have I seen such well balanced music that
complimented the story itself, listening to the soundtracks I felt suspense like no other. Now I can't say I'm a mecha
fan, but it was the first anime show I've seen machine combat and well let me just say I absolutely loved the scenes!
The action is so much greater and the fighting is unbelievable! The weapons that each possesses has me yelling for a
winner XD. I'm awestruck at what these machines are capable of and my love for these machines compares only with
Lloyd's. Ahh the characters- each changed dynamically because of Lelouch, they either made epiphanies of their own and
joined with Zero or went against him. Each made their choice or think they did and it entertained me so to see them
change before my eyes as they went towards madness or peace. The only one I didn't like was the green braided hair girl
to which for some reason my brain refuses to learn the name. Her ridiculous fear of the Japanese can only be compared
with the stupidity of a person discriminating against a black person thinking that each one of them is going to shoot
them. (I wish she had died off...)
Now onto the power of this Geass. I still didn't fully understand until the end and it took another watching of the
second season to understand it.
The only other point that surprised me was the second season... I've never done this with another show before, but I had
to on the account of it being a new season branching from the first, (the first ends with a cliffhanger! >.<).
I watched the entire second season in one sitting.
My reaction to every twist and turn in the story was stronger than the last, the story was amazing and by the end of it
all up to the climax of the second season (at first you'll think what you're watching is the climax, but trust me you'll
definitely know when it is when you watch it) I was done, literally done. Mostly due to the fact that I started the
season in the evening and the lack of sleep made me a bit more hysterical than usual, I had laughed in victory, yelled
in anger or anguish, and cried (yes I cried, it was 4 a.m. =_=) in hopelessness and acceptance. I went to bed thinking
and emotionally drained, it was over. That's where I took off .25 of the points from a perfect score. It wasn't the
ending that got me, it was the very end of the ending which left me uncertain. I highly recommend this for people
looking for a good story to unfold and to those who like to observe the world in the sidelines, believe me you will be
entertained.
TOTALLY IN LOVE. Code Geass is one of my all time favourites. I don't know why but I got pretty affected at the ending
and I cried. Not gonna say anything, just in case you haven't watched the anime yet. Anyway, season I is a total
cliffhanger. Lelouch's background is pretty heavy for me. But I still like it :D
I would love it even more if the Knightmare Frames are more advanced though.
Highly recommended anime!
I thought that this was gonna be a random mecha anime.. I was wrong. It had a stable story and a very intelligent (and good looking) main character. At the end, I cried. Yeah, that was me crying my heart out at 2 am because of the ending.
