Takeya Ikuhara was a normal high school boy. He is one of the few having no interest in a space ship that had crashed
over a year ago. With Female passengers called DearS. One day he happens upon a naked shivering girl. At first he
thought she was just a girl, but then realized she was actually one of the aliens from the ship crash. He takes her home
reluctantly. He'd seen one too many sci-fi movies and constantly feared she was going to brain wash him. The next day,
he sets her in a closet to hide while he went to school and she chose that as her room. Takeya does his best to help the
girl called Ren. Who unlike other DearS can't speak much at first. It turns out that she is in actually malfunctioning
and is being hunted down by their leader. Takeya eventually begins to learn more about DearS, and a mythical DearS
relationship called “Gift” that starts to develop between them.

All in all, DearS was a very enjoyable anime. I liked it a lot, and not because of the artwork. The story was hilarious, the characters were awesome, and the whole thing seemed like it might happen in real life (only might happen). I could watch DearS over and over again, but then I’d get tired of it.
The story was told well, but I think it could have been better. It was definitely interesting to watch the character relationships develop, and to see all of the DearS with their skimpy costumes on!
And so, with that, I end my review, leaving you this piece of advice: Beware the teacher.

Awesome-st story line around. I was like, "Finally, some one want to be a slave"... nan chatte. XD
Presentation and voice acting are cool but music is outclassed and even heard in this time (specially the song "I
am your Slave" )
And yeah, our hero here is yet another clueless person. Who is aggressive on the outside and lovely from the inside.

Skyeaten rated 9.00:hahaha, I tried watching ecchi and it was actually a rather cute story. I was kinda never the same after though..with all the ecchi-ness and all... Good anime none the less. Really cliche probably, but I don't watch ecchi, ever, SO I would have no idea actually. The characters were just drawn unusually cute.
