A melancholy show depicting a world where the internet is even more horrible and obnoxious. The protagonists use glasses that allow them to seamlessly interact with the virtual world. This serves as a device that blurs reality and illusion, giving the show an odd 'Plato's Allegory of the Cave' feel. Much of the story is devoted to the characters' longing for something lost or unattainable...it comments on philosophy as related to the human condition, in other words. In spite of all its depth, the show did suffer from under-utilization of some characters, as well as rushed, sappy ending.
