Western style feeling. Lots of subtle messages that make sense. A journey and inevitable meetings and paths crosses between an entanglement of many people. A story that is very realistic with a hint of magic. Also the love-crazed boy L.A who caught my eye the most.
As a story, this was one of those that caught my eye once, and after watching... I was hooked. With some surprises in it, the series was worth watching, Some of the episodes were feeling rushed at times, but as a whole each one did its job to a tee.
Love it when things are done a little differently... but I am a little different also.
Honestly, I thought this series would be as good as Madlax or Noir, but was disappointed. There was just none of that intense mystery/suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat at the end of every episode in the first two series. I ended up dropping it because I got bored. Maybe I'll go back and finish it sometime...
