Emil is the male protagonist of Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk (Dawn of the new world). He is a shy boy who lost
his parents during the Palmacosta Blood Purge. He hates Lloyd Irving as a result, since his mother blames him with her
last breath.
When he is offered the "power of Ratatosk's Knight", he
accepts it and begins to collect Cores with Marta Lualdi, in order to
awake the spirit.
