Very unique magical girl series. Yes! Pretty Cure 5 is my favorite installment. Fight scenes are interesting and awesome looking – it's not in every series that you get to see magical girls beating the snot out of the monster of the week using their bare fists. Character designs, especially for the transformed Cures, are generally good-looking. Mascot characters in 5 transform into bishounen. Art occasionally goes off-model and QUALITY shots aren't a rarity, but art and animation are generally good. Can be extremely difficult to find subs, unfortunately – luckily, there's a chance Funimation will pick it up, the first season is already released.
