Original, feral bear killing, badass talking dogs series made by the creative mind of Yoshihiro Takahashi (Manga) & Toei Animation Studio (Anime). Only bad take is that they didn't portray the "Wolf Arc" from the official source material as well but nonetheless it's identical to its paper counterpart frame by frame and definetly a must-watch for every battle shonen fan out there (both newbie and expert)!!
It is a really good manga. That evil bear is relly very scary. But then I read a chapter in which a hunter brags about how he hunted and killed many tigers, lions, etc. etc.. that just ruined my mood, so i'm dropping this manga -.-
GNG is by far better than GDW in my humble opinion. It had a better story, better characters, and more feeling, plus the drawing style may have been old, but atleast the dogs looked fluffy, unlike the slick fur in GDW, which really annoyed me for some reason. But best of all, Gin wasn't stupid.
