/anime/ Terrible. I had hoped for at least some redeeming qualities, since at least Seiji Kishi was adapting an anime original this time, but, nope, no dice. He's still as awful with pacing as ever. The tonal shifts are also extremely awkward as he tries to shift from comedy to action to poignancy to horror, and it never, ever works out. Completely regret watching this.
