The character design is nice, but that's to be expected from KyoAni. Decided to watch this since it's similar to K-On, a series I really enjoyed & because it has a 2nd season coming up & thought why not. So far Kumiko & Asuka are my fav characters in the series. ^^ Taki is hella strict... Yuuko is so damn SELFISH over something that has to do with her senpai Kaori & not herself. I can't stand her character at all.
Kumiko & Reina character develpment got shafted; even taking Reina out of a decent portion of the second season just to have her come back into things & have Kumiko blindly supporting pointless a relationship in Reina & Taki was so unneeded.
