Himiko Himejima and her friend Kutani Masahiko were exploring the ancient ruins in which Kutani had found Himiko years
before. Suddenly Himiko’s pendant activates and the two are sent to ancient Japan. The Yamatai kingdom needed a queen
and six candidates were chosen but before one could be chosen the Kune empire attacked and disrupted the ceremony. The
six candidates form a resistance group to try to overthrow the empire. Himiko and Kutani decide to help in any way they
can. Over time Himiko’s true connection to this world is reveled.

The artwork and the music were both awesome. However, unfortunately, the titular character never really stopped being a whiny little girl and the show was not near long enough to develope the likable characters.
