Ever since he was little, the meek Hiroaki has lived in the shadow of his father, also a director and the one who shot the very popular TV drama "Dark Moon". In an attempt to distance himself from him, Hiroaki changes his name and decides to remake "Dark Moon" as a modern story; unfortunately, the very high standards he sets for himself often go unaccomplished and are the source of several panic attacks he has while on-set. Hiroaki gets along well with Asami (the producer responsible for one of Shou Fuwa's music videos), Kyoko and Ren, who often encourage him.
