Despite being fairly simple in its premise, Kenichi manages to stay entertaining with its unique fight scenes, great comedy, and its occasional touching moments. Each of Kenichi's opponents carries their own style, and his training is so well conveyed, you feel as though you're learning with him. This series should be a staple in any anime collection.

Really entertaining and enjoyable anime.
Kenichi is a funny character and doesn't seem like he'd be a hero at all. And it was quite hilarious how he would try avoid training with all the different sensei's.

One of the best classic anime series and bound by same old idea, I.e. EVERYONE is a good guy. Our hero is quite optimistic as usual and is relying on very tough training to save those he love.

Well.... I guess I might not say anything about this anymore

Totally entertaining and enjoyable. Kenichi was such a fun character and such an unlikely type hero. Or maybe unlikely is not the right choice of words but more that he was a very relunctant type lol. It wa always so funny how he tried to avoid and feared the training from his senseis at the time. He had such bad luck that lead to many funny moments lol

I watched the anime completely. It was surprisingly entertaining, but I kinda wish the series continued on with the manga. The ending was similar to Soul Eater's and D-Gray Man's; disappointing because you know there's more that could have been animated, but ended at a good time anyways. I plan to read the manga once I recover from watching Kenichi continuously for the past few days.
