I think with everything else reviewed, I gave out a pretty good idea on what I think about the presentation and show, in
general. So just to sum it up:
-The show is enjoyable, but the long arcs and fillers can get tiring- it becomes a must-see when it follows well the manga storylines and gets to the serious stuff. The romance is to die for- You'll find yourself debating ships without realizing it.
-The concept of the story is well put, even if sometimes you kind of forget what's it really about due the laid-back-ness that some breather episodes tend to have.
-The humor is okay- not to burst out laughing, not to stay there with a blank face. The comedid timing is pretty good, even if it's repetitive.
I really love Inuyasha but my favorite character is Sesshomaru.I watch every episode and movie that is on the net. I really wish Sesshomaru would have his own movie or series so that many of us may know who he really was inside. I wan to know if Sesshomaru have or will fall-in-love, if theres something more in that cold , quiet character he has.
Think I've seen about 80% of the series... probably missed a few episodes here and there, but have seen most of it. Rather enjoyed Inuyasha: the locations, going back and forth between universes, different items, the various characters and their dynamics. The most interesting relationship is between Inuyasha and his half-brother, Sesshomaru. The most annoying thing is the overuse of the "Sit" joke. It got old after the 3rd episode (used too often for comedic effect).
This series takes its' success from taking concepts of various other series and has a female protagonist who doesn't carry the title of pure-hearted heroine on her sleeve to be honest, Kagome should consider herself lucky she doesn't have more than one rival for Inuyasha's affections like what MI's Kyoko and Ranma's Akane had to endure. I also didn't like the Miroku/Sango gags and the protagonists going through the same cycle with fighting lesser demons while hunting for Naraku, finding and fighting him, and he disappears when he doesn't have the upper hand. The anime also vilified Kikyo too much which contrasts how she was portrayed in the manga. I pretty much like Kikyo regardless of the bad stigma her character gets and I found her relationship with Inuyasha really sweet too, Kikyo not using those beads to handle Inuyasha and instead using her mature graces endears me to her more. I pretty much like Sesshomaru and Rin too and their bond, if Rin was older then I would support her in a relationship with Sesshomaru.
This anime is totally a wonderful one to watch especially to anime-lovers who's favorite genres are time traveling and are really lovers of the Japanese culture. The plot of the anime is well-sequenced and the characters are really given time to shine on certain episodes. Though some parts in the manga are intentionally deleted to be a part of the anime but the filler episodes they inserted are really essential in contributing wonderful twist and turn of events.
I own two of the movies (one of which I gotta replace) but have seen all 4 and love the series. But I was mildly disappointed because it sorta felt like the love triangle got dragged on too long plus *spoiler alert* it was agitating to not get a kiss scene f/ InuXKag until the very last episode
I like this anime especially the idea of going back time through a well, I really like Kikyo from there she is just so
cool. The love story of Kikiyo and Inuyasha is just so heart breaking. The plot is pretty well laid out. For guys who
don't mind watching long anime you'll definitely like it so go for it. I also had to wait for such a long time for the
release of Final act T.T
First of all, I wanted to say that I watched this anime completely only because of Sesshoumaru. X3 The first couple of episodes were quite good with decent storyline, great art, voice-acting, good animation, but somewhat annoying main characters. But then the story just kinda dragged on forever and I started to get bored of all the monster killings after watching 20+ episodes. The the plot is unimpressive except for the the 'final arc', but I have to admit the opening and ending songs are one of the best songs I've ever heard in anime. <3
This anime really had a huge impact on me. :D
I have watched it for almost 10 years and it never gets old. T.T
My favorite series of all time. It has an amazing storyline full of drama and suspense, beautiful and lovable characters, and sad, romantic and hilarious-comedic moments. Inu Yasha will go down in history.
I think the beginning episodes were better then the new ones. I've seen all I can of the anime. Didn't read the manga, but I know what happens. I'll go ahead and leave it that I've only seen partially. Got very repetitive so I kinda gave up on it.
Edit: I finally saw the last season. I enjoyed it a lot. Was happy to watch Inuyasha again. Good ending, left me smiling the whole time =)
This show was easily the best show I have seen in my life!!! I love this show more than anyother one out there!! If there was ever a perfect anime this show would take the cake in my mind! No doubg the best show to ever exsist hands down!
Too long and annoying... The story is quite repetitive, most of the episodes seem to be the same, always following the
same events. It's also boring always have to deal with the same enemy. I don't particularly like the characters,
especially Kagome: she's childish, petulant and always plays the victim and despite her bad character everyone is always
on her side. And Inuyasha that never react! Many characters are just stereotypes: the bad guy, the cynical one, the
perverted one. Even the humor in the long run doesn't make you laugh anymore. I also don't like the complications in the
story, probably introduced to make it more interesting, but they just confuse and create contradictions.
INUYASHA: "Don't you faint on me, you stupid girl!"
I love Inuyasha it has a good balance of anime. Each character has a very well developed personalities, nice animation and most importantly a heart loving story.Even though it was quite long, every episode took you one step closer to the ending. Not to mention how funny it can be,and their soundtracks are beautiful.
Inuyasha.....full of suspen! Best anime i've ever seen! The battle in this story so awesome. Inuyasha along with his friend always try so hard fighting agains Naraku@Onigumo. Naraku fight for the shikon no tama but his wish was nothing. He actually just want Kikyo hearts bcoz Priestes Kikyo treat him very kind. Bcoz he jealous the relationship between Inuyasha n Kikyo, he manipulated them until Kikyo die. Bcoz of wish that Kikyo made not the true one..the shikon no tama still alive n Kagome was born for it. Kagome back to the feudal era for waking up Inuysha. The journey start when Inuyasha along with Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Seshoumaru, Kouga, Myouga ji san, Totousai, Jaken, Rin, Kohaku & Kirara fight agains Naraku. Ow...AWESOME!!!!!!
It's a thrilling story, certainly! However, there are some parts that I don't like at all, of which I'll mention just the main one: if there's something I hate is the comparison between different people; for me it's just an awful and cruel offense to be seen and loved because you "resamble" someone else from the past. I pitied Kagome all the time for this fact and I always thought: "C'mon, you dog! Grow a pair and admit what you feel!" That's why I preferred the wolf dude.
quite a lengthy series at 170 episodes with filler material and somewhat repetative battles/situations in amongst it. Despite this, it's a great series which i can't stop watching. am watching it nightly with my son and he's also enjoying it (trying my best to expose him to decent 'cartoons' early to avoid the rubbish most kids are obsessed with these days :P)
