what I enjoy the most from this anime is the comedy and music. It's hilarious, as any four-panel manga-based anime... The jokes are well put, and they're not too fast, so you can't miss them. the school theme on this anime didn't show up very much.. the music club room is where mostly the scene will take place, so I think it's kind of boring... The drama part didn't show up until the final episodes, but I personally think it's kind of typical, though.. This anime has only a few characters (and there is no male character), to make the story more compact.. The anime plot is short and simple, but it's nice to watch because the theme is good and there's no wasted scenes.. It's a shame though, that I think this anime was too short.. If it has a second season, I will definitely watch it...

Милое доброе и смешное аниме. Но K-on это неболее чем история о повседневности девочек из клуба музыки. Кратеое описание. Не напрягающие действия героинь и 6 чашечек горячего чая с сладостями, под неумелую игру на гитаре от Юи.

This is a solid anime even for a moe one. It has a simple and fun story, comedy and a cute cast. This is one of those shows where you just watch it simply to just laugh at and chill. It has a simple story line of a light music club band that has a dream of making it big. This was also my first anime of the moe genre and I am not ashamed that I enjoyed it. I recommend this anyone no matter what kind of anime you watch. Also, Azu-Nyan was so damn kawaii >_<

This is one of the cutest anime I've watched, some people argue that they tried really hard to make it cute but failed but, in my opinion they succeeded in doing so. All the light music club members are really cute and their weird qualities add to the fun. I was really able to relate to it because I was in high school when I was watching this anime. I really like Mio the basist from the anime, she's good in studies and responsible, and the main reason is because I like bass guitar. I like Yui the vocalist and gutarist too she is really clumsy and really the fun of the group she does all the weird stuff and brings about the awkward situation. Mugi the pianist is also one weird character she is super rich but she is that humble type, because she can't enjoy the normal stuff she really envy and wants to try the normal stuff. Ritsu the drummer she is a tom boy she is really the outgoing type and does all the naughty stuff. And then there is Azusa though I don't like her she can be cute sometimes.

Cute girls anime, this is a comedy genre anime but it's not funny at all. -___- I watched this only because the cute characters. K-On! is about four cute girls hanging out during and after school and their music club.. so I expected very good songs from this series, but I was disappointed. As for the art and animation, they are very well-done, cute, and attractive.

I don't know if there's a manga for this anime, but the story was somehow cliché. Maybe that's how a normal "slice of life" - "school life" anime is supposed to be, but it kind of bored me. It's cute to see the characters develop their friendship and the plus is the music, but it can get dull after a while.

I am totally, completely, 100% in LOVE with K-ON!! Best anime I've seen so far. It's cute, funny, it relaxes with the great plots and intoxicates with it's fantastic vicious music!! Anyone who likes slice of life, comedy and great Japanes music, K-on is a complete buffet. He fulfilled my need to see young girls having fun with the excuse of a band(because they almost don't practice, even though they play perfectly) with new circumstances each episode. I loved every song, specially the ones sung by Mio (Hikasa Yoko), and each beat and rhythm. The animation was perfect, mainly for making the best out of the comedy and cute moments. Even with the stereotyped Yui as the main character, I found myself loving Ritsu and Sawa-chan almost criminally because of the funny moments. Movie was as perfect as it could be. Best describe word: EPIC!!!

This is one of those shows that if you watch the japanese version then you like it better than the english because of the voices. The only anime I've laughed hard at ever other than when Shiro blew up the tower on Deadman Wonderland and Yo's face was priceless. But every episode of this was funny or goofy in some way. LIke the part where they got lost and Yui called Azusa thinking it would help, hilarious.

Very cute and funny^^ Yui can be such an airhead and childish xD Ui is very responsible; especially considering she's the younger sister. Mio is just so cute, but is also a big scaredy cat, but tries to keep the group in line. Azusa's cute too^^ Some of the songs I really like as well.^^ I would definitely recommend watching this series if you're looking for something lighthearted and funny. The movie's also good^^

K-On! belongs to the slice-of-life genre, so there isn’t a plot, the episodes are fairly episodic. There are only female characters and their main characteristic is an incredible amount of cuteness!! The episodes show the school life of the five main characters while doing their cute, funny things revolving around the light music club. It’s a comedy, so nothing dramatic or upsetting happens, only humorous and fun situations galore, that give a warm and light feeling. The characters, even if they fall a bit into stereotypes of the moe genre, have nice personalities and realistic emotions, they’re likable despite not being particularly well developed. The animation is very good and the music too, but, in truth, I was hoping that the music would be given a greater role. Moreover, the first two years of school have been condensed into just 13 episodes, I would have liked to see something more.

YUI HIRASAWA: "When I first heard "Light Music Club" I thought it was all about easy music, so I joined thinking maybe I'll be playing castanets."

LOL! So funny! This 4 ( in the begining...then 5) girls will make you laugh like you never did before. If you like music and comedy this is your perfect anime to make you smile and feel good X)
The 4 high school girls who join Sakuragaoka Girl's High School's light music club to try to save it from being disbanded, however, they are the only members of the club. At first Yui Hirasawa has no experience playing musical instruments or reading sheet music as she is only familiar with playing the castanets, but she eventually becomes an excellent guitar player. From then on, Yui, along with bassist Mio Akiyama, drummer Ritsu Tainaka, and keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki spend their school days practicing, performing, and hanging out together. There days are sooo funny!
After Azusa joins they gain more structure and begin to practice more.
After their third year, Yui, Ritsu, Mio and Tsumugi graduate and enroll into a university. There they join its light music club alongside three other students: Akira Wada, Ayame Yoshida, and Sachi Hayashi. Meanwhile, Azusa continues to run the high school light music club alongside Yui's sister, Ui, their classmate, Jun Suzuki, and new members Sumire Saitō and Nao Okuda.
Its really funny and cool! Watch it really ;)

Probably one of the most superb anime I have ever seen. It has awesome musics, lovable characters, and pretty neat comedies. To top it off, the Moenizers are on their best to unleash the "Moe-Moe-Kyun".

I music and the songs were awesome. The anime is very cute and very funny too. The anime might seem girly but boys seem to love it too. The Subbed version is great, but while watching it dubbed, its really boring and you never get the jokes and puns etc.

One of my favorite slice-of-life animes! The characters, though highly typical, are very captivating and make me laugh. Their friendship reminds me of all the friends I had in high school and how close we were, it really brings back some warm memories!

What more can we ask for a anime with all music + cute girls combie? At 1st season it just a normal all girls comedy type show but in 2nd season it comple dif. They focus more in Azusa's emotion we can see alot Azu cute side but also her feeling when Yui & other gona leave. & again the music drag us in dif world XD i love OP & ED of 2nd season

Hilarity ensues at this high school when the light music club takes root. As Mio, Yui, Tsumugi, and Ritsu aim to become famous musicians you follow their musical 'adventures', which mainly involve Ritsu being hit. I love this series and can't wait to finish it.
