A GRAVE division policeman who looks nothing like one, Munakata could be mistaken for a criminal at first glance. He has
no qualms about using less-than-legal ways to achieve justice and most of his coworkers are afraid to go near him (only
Akira Kise, who is stuck as his partner, is brave enough). However, despite his appearance, Munakata is very perceptive
and skilled at talking to people.
He develops a relationship with Asago Sumon, who initially rejects him because of the difference in their status.
