Hisako Irie is a pretty but mellow young woman. Because of this, she often
gets picked on by drunkards while walking home from work at night.
One night, a man who tries to pick her up
becomes violent when she refuses to go with him. Just then, a big dog appears and scares the man away. Hisako, grateful,
takes the dog home and places a necklace with a yellow quartz gem around his neck. Soon, a man comes by Hisako's
apartment; it turns out he's in love with her and confesses, pushing her to go to dinner with him. While she tries to
think up a way to make him leave, a tall man appears behind her and rudely shuts the door in the other man's face. And
he seems to be wearing Hisako's necklace...
