Hisako Irie is a pretty but mellow young woman. Because of this, she often
gets picked on by drunkards while walking home from work at night.
One night, a man tries to pick her up; but she
refuses to go with him and he becomes violent. Just then, a big dog appears and scares the man away. Hisako, grateful,
takes the dog home and takes care of it.
The next day, a man comes by Hisako's apartment; it turns out he's in
love with her and confesses. While she tries to think up a way to make him leave, a tall man appears behind her and
rudely shuts the door in the man's face. As startled as she is, Hisako makes a connection between this strange person
and the big dog from the previous night...
