Weskalia's Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Tv Review

Rated: 6

Accept KoreZom for what it is – a simple cutesy fanservice show – and it can be quite entertaining. However, those who finished the show would find it quite disappointing. The plot is divided into two parts with little relation to each other: the first part is about the search for the mystery behind the murders while the second revolves Eu's past. But what more of an utter disappointment is how the producers turn the last episode into a mindless silly gag created for fanservice. There's still the OVA (or perhaps a sequel) to talk about, but I highly doubt they will continue the left-opened story. Just wait to see what other tricks they have up their sleeves.

It really wasn't that good, me giving it a five is being way to generous I think. It had spark to it, the characters were cheesy, the story was cheesy, and the ending was lame as hell. The only thing I really liked about it was that it was only 12 episodes long. It was like combining Yu Yu Hakusho and Happy Lesson together and then FAILING miserably.

A new finished series of the winter season 10/11 that's hilarious good! Have seldom laughed that much while the overall theme is this dark, bloody and deathly. Ayumu is great as Zombie (and after his transformation I could not stop laughing) and Hellscythe-dono is totally cute with her sketchbook. If you look for seriousness you're totally out of place but if you love the arrangement of some random matter and parody into one storyline you definitely will love it but you shouldn't be too squeamish because Zombies are undead and don't die even if they're e.g. caught in an explosion ;)

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? is a zombie anime without the gore. LOL. it's a combination of ecchi && comedy which makes the anime really good. the plot is quite simple though not entirely that unique and the main hero, Aikawa Ayumu is really great. every episode is really interesting and almost equally funny. personally for me, it's a really great anime and is recommended for those who like ecchi-comedy types though this is practically not the fave-anime type for me. o(^ v ^)o

The overall idea of this Anime, which is basically the supernatural, and main protagonist being a Zombie, is neat. Generally when we hear "zombie" we think "brain eating, flesh craving, brainless people back from the dead," however, that's not the case here. Also; the action is a bit lacking on here, as well. I won't say it's TOO bad. [SPOILER] "Final battle" isn't much a "battle." I'll say give it a try! It was an amazing Anime, indeed. However, when watching, keep in mind that the last episode (12) is basically a filler / unimportant towards the story; it's a swimsuit / fan service episode, with singing.

quite an amusing series. The main protagonist Ayumu's inadvertant absorption of Haruna's powers cracked me up as he gains her powers... along with her pink frilly outfit :P which gets even 'cuter' upon powering up.
