Kotonoha no Niwa Scans

I'm not a big fan of Shinkai's works. Most of the time, his movies are utterly beautiful but the plot itself is dull, tasteless. It's not the case in Kotonoha no Niwa. I really like the idea and the fact that these two people help each other in the form of an unspoken promise. The promise to come in the park every rainy day. I love this poetic side of the movie. The only problem for me is the end. I just want to see more of it. Just a bit more.
CoMix Wave Films and Makoto Shinkai are back, yet again, with another masterpiece. Though it's a bit short for its play time, the artwork and animation makes it up for everything. The artwork as usual is breathtaking but this time, it seems as if you're taken to a whole new level 'cause of how real looking the environment and elements are. It's as if you could almost touch and feel them. Setting that aside, the story of 'The Garden of Words' are pretty spot on and straight to the point. I definitely recommend it. A must-watch.
