Dist : It can't be said enough that I hate this anime. I hate the story. I hate the characters. I hate the fact that anyone would think this is acceptable entertainment. I hate that this was ever created, and the fact that it exists is reason enough for humanity to feel ashamed.

If I had to list something that was decent in this show, it would be episodes four and five. Since those two showed the most potential for a good show. Though this was immediately squandered.

If I had to pick one thing I truly loathed in this pile of filth, is the characters. All of them. Every last thing about them, the design choices for the females, the characters that we are introduced to that are never used, mentioned or barely seen again.

I've watched this anime recently after reading a friend's recommendation.
I'm checking it as a "completely seen" beacause for now Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon has only 2 seasons and I've seen them both.
I hope that another season will be created beacause light novels seem to cover much more story than these 26 episodes and the last ep of the 2nd season has some clues to the story to be continued. ^^
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon is a strange mix of different genres, it has too much fanservice and some jokes that are not quite decent. But the story is all about true love and true friendship, and that's why I like it a lot. Most of the characters are admirable or at least make us feel sorry for them. The world is very believable and amazing despite of being very absurd. The music is great. I love to watch how the characters fight, not only with their might and magic but through some negotiations too.
...This "review" became as messy as Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon's story in the end. XD Anyway - I like this anime and rate it quite high.

The good: The first episode was a nice introduction to some of the characters. In terms of the episode itself, I guess we’ll just have to wait till next week before things really get kicked into gear. But for a first episode, I was not disappointed. The quality of the animation and the art style are so detailed and pretty. In the mean time, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon doesn’t disappoint. Starting strong with an awesome chase/fight scene paired up with just a hint of what the story is hiding to really make you start drooling for more, I’m excited to follow along and discover what this show has to offer. And the art is pretty. Now onto the bad: I really feel like the cast of characters in Horizon alone is a major factor that kills the series. Because there's just WAY too many characters to give focus on fairly. While it's true a lot of good VA's are in this one; that fact is just completely overshadowed to the point where it doesn't even matter by the sheer numbers of all the people being juggled in to talk about at once. The series is incredibly confusing especially when you listen to one or a few or the numerous characters try to have a conversation. It's like they throw in all these terms and such just to drag out the conversation and by the end of it all you're wondering what the conversation you just heard was really even supposed to about in the first place. I don't even know how they're going to end the series, because as it stands all the episodes out now are just the first season (yes there is like 13 more episodes left in the show), and as confused as I am now I really wonder if they're going to be able to pull off a decent ending let alone one that makes sense. The ending confused me.

An over all cool anime. Story is about an age in far future, when ASTRAL SHIPS were made, which were big enough to house a whole town. Story line is awesome, but despite its an action anime, it feels a little slow. But that slowness has its own charm.
Sound acting is awesome too. The hero, who looks like a sex freak. So he also plays the role of a hentai dude ( which is like very important to be present in any anime these days)
This anime can be categorized in action, romance, echi and funny. Over a sticky anime. GIving it 9.5
