Kyubey Character

Kyubey is a mysterious cat-like creature who offers Madoka and Sayaka the chance to become magical girls after the two save him from Homura's attacks. At first he spends a lot of time around Madoka, continually pointing out her great potential and trying to convince her to become a magical girl, but begins following Sayaka after she makes the contract with him. In later episodes, Kyubey reveals that he is part of an advanced, rationality-based alien race that doesn't manifest or comprehend emotions like humans do.
