May is introduced in season two as the new performer at Kaleido Stage. She openly challenges Sora Naegino, refusing to believe in her potential and merits. She is jealous of Sora because of her close relationship with Layla Hamilton, whom she idolizes. Even though she grows to accept Sora and sometimes shows that she doesn't hate her anymore, she is too hard-headed to admit it. As shown in one of the later episodes, she is very good at ice skating and used to play-wrestle with her (numerous) younger brothers. It is also implied that she has a crush on Leon Oswald.
