Tagged under Kazurou Inoue, Studio Pierrot, Series.
Seiji Sawamura is the toughest seventeen-year-old in town, feared by
all for his fighting prowess and his deadly "devil's right hand." But at heart, Seiji is a softy, and all he wants is an
end to his seventeen-year history of being a lonely single guy. Unfortunately, his tough-guy reputation only serves to
decrease his popularity with the ladies.
Then one day, Seiji wakes up to discover his "devil's right
hand" has turned into...a miniature gal named Midori! Strangely enough, Midori is a real girl who is just as surprised
as Seiji to find out she has now become--literally--Seiji's right hand! It turns out Midori has always had a crush on
Seiji, and her desperate wish to be connected with him has somehow come true...maybe all too true!

The title presents itself excellently. The humour factor is superb. If you're the type that finds it humourous when someone gets "belly-to-back" suplexed or chased after by a girl then you'll find plenty of that here. The title also pokes fun at otaku culture, specifically the figure collector class. With Midori as a right hand who needs a puppet? Well, Seiji's "friend" knows that very much and would like to have Midori for himself... with Seiji imagining things that this guy would do to him including amputation and such.
This title also features a little ecchi for those skin lovers out there. And yes, you get to see right-hand Midori's bare chest...

This is the anime that I watched way back in 2003 or was it 4? Well this is one anime that I can never forget there is
romance comedy ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't help but smile when I recall this anime ( I'm smiling.
>.<) and laugh out like a mad person when I remember the funny scene Hahaha!!!!!!! I recently read the manga and
it's awesome. You should try this anime it's short and worth the watch.
One of the best anime ever.
Mhhh... That is a kinda bizarre: a right-hand-girl that stalks a bully guy... But when you watch more, you can see such a good characters and so many emotions that you can feel around your own life. And, if you don't let out some tears, you don't have a heart!
okay, this one is not one of my normal anime types to watch, but when i saw a person attached to some ones hand i had to watch it. this was much because i had just got done watching Chobits and wanted a similar scenario anime to watch. it had lots of comedy and few moments where it was pretty serious too. but i feel the character development just wasn't there for most of the cast. still the redeeming qualities of this anime keep it well above a bad one. in not sure if it will be well received by most but the story is a good on and defiantly worth a view.
One of my favorite anime series of all time... i mean its a girl on a guys hand for crying out loud! It's so
original!
Plenty of laughs and great plot and storyline. I really wish they continued on to a series 2 after this... but oh well.
Just gotta wait and see what the future brings!
The anime are pretty short, shorter than the manga, but I guess that's how thing works.
About Midori no Hibi, it's a pretty amusing and sweet anime, even thou Sawamura was supposed to be a pervert, I can
help but to love his character. He's such a good kid. His sister are scary and pretty disturbing, good thing I
don't have sister like that.
Well, when we watch Midori no Hibi, the one thing that you definitely love is the mystery that befallen Seiji and Midori
(well, in this case, it'll probably Seiji only XD). It's unusual, and the ending was a bit unexpected.Still,
it's one of the best. :)
The anime is nothing like the manga, why Pierrot Studio decided to make it into 13 episode-series, while the manga was
way longer than that.
And I enjoyed the manga way more than the anime, even if they're pretty much the same.
