Recently, many paintings from the London gallery of art have been stolen, with the thief only leaving behind a rose as
his signature. In light of this, the bodyguard Alexis is hired by Markov, a Russian businessman (and smuggler), to
protect his other paintings and, most importantly, kill the thief when he strikes again. During his investigation,
Alexis comes across Kairi Sakamoto, a quiet Art History graduate working at the London University of Art, who seems to
have a secret of his own.

Alright, this is definitely guilty pleasure material. The plot sounds like an old Bond movie and is ultimately so contrived that it should only be considered a pretext for the romance. The twist is fairly predictable and you can see the ending a mile away. The characters don't have much going for them either, they all pretty much follow the types Masara always uses in her works. All in all, don't go into this thinking you'll find something deep and you won't be disappointed.
