A 12-year-old girl who dreams about becoming a singer in order to reunite with her first love, Eichi Sakurai. Unfortunately, she is diagnosed with throat cancer and is told the surgery to cure it may leave her unable to sing. Mitsuki is then visited by two shinigami, Meroko and Takuto, who tell her she has only one year to live. She makes a deal with the shinigami and uses their powers to turn into the 16-year-old popstar Full Moon in exchange for readily going with them when her time comes.
