Overall, I was disappointed on how the film depicted the last battle between rivals Char & Amuro as it felt it was just more than Amuro wanting to stop Char from fulfilling his plans to throw the abandoned Axis down on Earth, it felt as if Lalah was still the reason behind the rivlary. So why bring up the past again and not move on as they appeared to do in Zeta? This film sorely needed Kamille's presence to balance things out. Also, the presence of new character Quess Paraya was a major turn off of my enjoyment of the film, she is similar to SEED's Flay Allster in personality and attitude and whole Char and Quess thing was sickening. The only person that made the film tolerable was Bright Noah and out of the UC characters I respect the most, it is him.
Supersaiyan-V rated 8.00:Hand-drawn cell animation at its finest for any era, number one. I found it entertaining from a plot standpoint, at least for a Gundam title anyway, but I was thoroughly impressed the wonderfully done M.S. battles - visually stunning and coreographed very well. I can definitely see why this is considered one of the great classics of both the genre and, yeah I said it, anime itself.
