Kamuinoyume's Naruto Tv And Manga Review
Rated:
Overall, for me, Naruto was extremely enjoyable when it started out, the first season was gripping, original exciting. But as the story pressed on, it drifted way to close to the generic shonen show territory, which irked me more than any, because the show really had potential to be something great and instead it chose the safe rout: something that will guarantee to keep it running for quite some time, but it won't turn out to be anything spectacular.

Another well made mainstream battle anime from Shonen Jump. Has great battles and a couple of good plot twists that will
make you want to keep watching or reading.
Only real complaints are there are too many unsatisfying fillers and some of the main characters could have been
developed better.
Nice but too loooong. Somewhere in the middle I've lost the thread! Many things happen all together, and 'till there's
an explanation... I've forgotten how everything has begun!

Watched all of Naruto, except for the last filler episode. Only watched half of Shippuuden. Read most of the manga, until it started getting boring. Still write fanfics on it. Currently reading the Rock Lee spin-off manga.
SolemnSerpent rated 4.75:Like Bleach, I don't think I'll ever see all of the episodes. Damn, there's too many. Overall, the series could be better- but with so many episodes, I can only expect so much. The anime is enjoyable, but as I grow older, it's something that doesn't stay with me. It has a childish quality to it, and if that doesn't draw you away from it, the filler episodes and Shippuden might. Shippuuden is great, the animation is improved- but it shouldn't be called "Naruto" at that point. It should be titled "Sasuke", because he becomes the main focus/goal during Shippuuden. The show is interesting, and there's a lot of cool characters- but it's no masterpiece.

Even thou the starting and the Sasuke's abandoning Konoha Gakure was a bit off, I still like the whole series, I
especially love the Shippuuden, where most had mature and Naruto was getting more awesome. Got some issue with internet
access and that's why I stopped watching Naruto...and doesn't feel like updating when I saw how many I've missed. XD
Well, since I have so many things to do and anime to watch, I'll find some way to update it.
