A word to best describe the anime’s run would be: Heartbreaking. As far as humor, tact, drama, character development, charm and wit go, few can do it better than Ouran. However, the anime’s resolution was nothing short of a cop-out save for a few graceful moments.
It is sad to see an anime with such potential, with such great characters depicted throughout be given the treatment at the end. However, if one thing can be certain, Ouran’s appeal can be seen by anyone: otaku or newcomer, sub watcher or dub watcher, Shoujo enthusiast or Shoujo non-fan.

Amusing! Among the funniest anime I've ever seen. The main character is Haruhi - a girl of humble origins who manages,
thanks to her excellent grades, to attend a private school for super rich people - but many other characters, which
cannot be defined "secondary", revolve around her, and they're all fully characterized. An original story,
always entertaining, never vulgar, lacking in the usual romantic platitudes.

It's humorous and very entertaining. All the characters in the anime and manga are so lovable. I like how the story
progresses in the manga. The anime is more simple and not as complicated but it's still good. :)
I love how the Hitachiin brothers handles the conflict among themselves and it's so cute!
Haha, such a hilarious anime! The english and Japanese dubs are both funny but honestly, I think the English voice of Tamaki is better than the Japanese one; his tone makes it funnier. However, the english voice of Haruhi I don't like at all.
AnGeeChan rated 8.50:Worth seeing especially for the characters. They are developing very nicely. In the end I could even recognise which one is Hikaru^_^ Btw Hitachiin brothers are so adorable! Every girl could find her type in this show I guess. My choice? Hikaru has his sweet moments, but the winner is Kyouya. Cool and intelligent. I have spoken^_^ Oh, and the series are very nicely ended I must admit.
SavingtheGeneration rated 9.50:Great show. ^^ Funimation dub is awesome. When a friend of mine said it was like Fruits Basket I was a little worried. I thought Fruits Basket was a little boring, and I didn't like Tohru. Ouran is different though because I love all of the guys, and I even like Haruhi. The humor definitely balanced it out. I didn't find Fruits Basket funny, I found it a little awkward, and very slow-paced. Thankfully Tamaki's overreactions really made the show funny and I found it heartwarming as well. ^^ Basically this show is Fruits Basket done right. lol
