Remus Lupin Character

While a student at Hogwarts, Remus used to hang out with James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter
Pettigrew. The four create the Marauder's Map, which shows not only where everyone is, but also the secret passages
of Hogwarts. Knowing their adventurous personalities, Dumbledore names Remus Prefect in order to keep the group in
check, but Remus doesn't take his position very strongly when dealing with his friends.
In "The Prisoner
of Azkaban", Remus returns to Hogwarts as the new professor of Defense against the Dark Arts, but leaves at the end of
Year 3. He joins the Order of the Phoenix later on to fight Voldemort, and generally acts as a father figure to
Harry.
