The second-youngest Weasley child, Ron often feels overshadowed by his older brothers and is consistently picked on by
twins Fred and George. The family's delicate financial situation also implies that Ron gets either hand-me-downs from
his brothers or cheaper second-hand things, which is the root of many complaints. He is sometimes jealous of the
attention Harry gets, but grows to understand that this is not positive, desirable attention. Although they happen to
fight sometimes, Ron still considers Harry to be his best friend. For this reason, it can be argued that Harry is closer
to Ron than he is to Hermione; during a big fight with Ron, he even comments that hanging out with only Hermione isn't
as fun, as they tend to spend a lot more time in the library.
