Sailor Moon Series

This is a tale of a girl named Tsukino Usagi (Dubbed Serena), a 14 year old clumsy, rash and irresponsible junior high school teen who learns that she is in fact a Sailor Senshi named Sailor Moon.
Usagi was actually the Moon Princess, Princess Serenity, daughter of Queen Serenity, ruler of the Moon Kingdom.
On the Moon, Princess Serenity fell in love with the Prince of Earth, Endymion where they shared a love affair in secret, fearing that if the Dark Queen Beryl found out the Prince's love for the Moon Princess, she would kill her because Queen Beryl wanted Endymion as a submissive slave for herself.
Then, when the Moon Kingdom was under siege, the protectors of the Moon, Sailors Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus battled to save the Queen and Princess but the forces of the Dark Queen's army were too strong.
So, as a last resort, Queen Serenity used her last ounce of energy to save her daughter and the others. She sent their souls to earth to be reborn and have fresh new lives, simultaneously weakening the Dark Queen and her master and sending them to Earth as well, where they slept for years till the time came when they awoke.
Throughout Sailor Moon, we see Usagi and her friends grow in to more mature, responsible people who accept their responsibilities as Senshi. They help each other as friends get through the hardships of life. And they help each other as warriors fight evil in the most just way possible.

Mnemosyne's Sailor Moon Tv Review
Rated:
I always enjoy watching Stars. There is a tension and even frustration on my part because not all of the characters have all of the important information, while the viewer does. And my utter hatred for Seiya... well that makes things interesting as well.
The humor is pretty much the same as it has been through the entire series. Usagi-sama is somewhat oblivious most of the time, and that can make for some pretty amusing scenes. (like that Blake/break scene...) And the tension that I won't shut up about even takes a few comic turns (people who hate each other + small spaces = fun for me). The villains are hilarious as well. (err... most of them...) I personally love the humor, but maybe it's something you have to be in the right mood for because I know not everyone does.
