I think I have mentioned enough how much i enjoyed this series! The execution is near flawless, putting emphasis where emphasis was needed. The storyline is complex enough to warrant curiousity and drive the viewer to finish the series, but simplistic enough to give the staff ample room for full development. Although its very fantasy-based, it was definitely designed to appeal to even an older audience that loves fairy tales but yearns for mature characters. Of course, I can't say any more about how much I LOVED the animation of fight scenes *_*.

LOVE this series and I'm not even finished with it yet. It's like watching a hayao miyazaki movie with more details to the characters and more action like in princess mononoke. I can't wait to watch the rest of the series.
A solid story backed by beautiful art, I couldn't ask for anything more. The characters are enjoyable and the storyline is quite original yet it feels nostalgic somehow. Perhaps it reminds me of past anime I've watched in a way? Hmmm... The thing that stood out most to me was the animation style, I simply loved it. It has a similar feel to Princess Mononoke, yet this animation was much smoother. This was visible to me especially during the action scenes which were done quite beautifully.
A very well-made anime with an excellent graphism (Miyazaki-like). The whole story takes place during a fantastic old
japanese period. Every character has charisma and makes you want to know more about his personal story.
The OST is great too !
This anime was very refreshing for me. It'd been a long time since I watched an anime in such great content. It's a very calculated and beautifully plotted anime which its mastery in drawing and graphic art never cease to amaze me during the course of the 26 episodes.
