Sengoku Musou Scans

Truly an engaging series, it's so much better than that awful Sengoku Basara series, what Musou has going for it is it's faithful to historical accuracy, a better depiction of Sanada Yukimura and Tokugawa Ieyasu, and no stupid, cheesy gung-ho shounen antics like in Basara. At times it drifted off into that territory, but not as bad like Basara. I love Ina-hime, she's such an alluring beauty and her voice actress has such a nice and lovely voice, she kind of looks like Outlaw Star's Suzuka in a way. I also love the use of traditional Japanese instruments for the BGM. The voice work is excellent, especially between Daisuke Ono and Takeshi Kusao for the Sanada brothers. It got sad in certain parts such as what happened after the battle of Sekigahara for Yukimura and how it affected Nobuyuki and the later separation between the two when they bid farewell to their bond as brothers. Otherwise, it's sad that this is rather an underrated series with no anime artwork from magazines promoting it featuring the female characters. The ending was really sad concerning Yukimura and how he stayed true to the warrior he was right until the very end. I truly hope there will be another season of this series that focuses either on Oda Nobunaga or Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro.
