Every 500 years Shaman across the world prepare to fight in the Shaman Tournament. Shaman are people who not only can
see ghosts, but can merge with them and fight to become the Shaman King. One such shaman, a boy called Yoh, channels his
ghost Amidamaru and enters the tournament. Along the way he meets new friends, enemies, and discovers something about
his family he did not know.
Will Yoh channel the King of Spirits and become the Shaman King, or will the evil Hao
rule the world?

I dunno what was so great about Shaman King that make it be so enjoyable. Yet this show proved that even anime for kids may be really good. I'd love to watch oryginal japanese version and read the manga. SK is certainly not for everyone. Mostly it is adressed to kids not older than 10-12 years, though I'm 19 and I still enjoyed it. There is someting in it. Maybe because I enjoyed DB so much? Still I think that it is worth watching anime for anyone who wants to spend good time and not worry about understanding every single conversation. It is a very good filler between more mature and complicated titles. If you've enough of RahXephon, EVA or whatever you're watching at the moment... just turn on Shaman King and have a good time... If you are one funny guy... you won't regret it...

It was good! So far! But I don't know where I left of this anime. DX Need to do some searching, but I think it's
somewhere where Yoh's team met the Iron Maiden's team? Or something like that..
Like I said before, it's good, love Yoh for his easy-going attitude, other character tends to get tense up easily so I
get really nervous, but Yoh ease my tension. XD
I haven't had any chances to watch this on TV,just found some on Internet,that's the reason why I've just watched a part of it,but it's a great anime.Both manga and anime,just Anna I loved,simple because I'm always attracted with female characters,but Anna's power is awesome anyway^_^.I love this anime and I hope I would have chance to watch it completely .

stories = good.
human char = standard. tooo much pictures drawn with ruler.
monster char = good. => but the FIRE MONSTER awesome bad.
motion (like fighting) = good.
fx = good, but not tooo goood.
while watching i feel something against me, well friendship is friendship ... but this movie friendship like homosexual ... wtf.
MK2010 rated 9.25:An awsome manga, i love it, especially the ending. As for the anime i think Shaman King is one of the best anime's of all time and the japanese version is definitely the version to watch not the english dub.

Another long-time-ago series for me and I've quite forgotten half of it!! ^.^'
Except that it's quite an enjoyable supernatural anime with some interesting characters
who meet and grow with. It looks like teenage-appeal to me with the age of the characters.
