An energetic Japanese girl who travels to America in order to participate in the audition hosted by the Kaleido Stage
circus. After arriving late for the audition because of unfortunate circumstances, she is greeted with hostility by the
regular performers but soon proves her worth when forced to replace a performer she accidentally injured. However, she's
in trouble after Layla Hamilton, the Stage's top star, develops an
acute dislike towards her.
Throughout the show she strives to become a better performer and discover her own
motivation for performing, while making friends and facing problems that become more challenging by the minute.
