Sousei no Aquarion - Wallpaper and Scan Gallery

In a distant future, humanity once again is facing the threat of the "Shadow Angels". Mystical creatures who returned after 12.000 years of absence. They attack human cities and kidnap their inhabitants in order to drain their "prana" (vital energy). To fight against them, youngsters with special powers from arround the world were gathered and trained to pilot the "vector machines", three ancient ships that together form mankind's ultimate weapon, "Aquarion". The story revolves mainly arround Apollo, a teenager rumored as the reencarnation of Apolonius, a fallen angel who fought against his own kind to protect mankind. Few believe it could be true, but the fact is that dispite his untamed and reckless nature, he proved to be an invaluable asset in the battle against the Shadow Angels.

I like this anime very much. I think that it is nearly perfect. ^^ Of course it has some absurd moments and the end doesn't seem to be very good but still this anime is great, much better than its sequel Aqurion Evol (though I kinda liked this sequel too).
Highly recommended.

Ah, how to say this. I fell for this anime when i read the review, for some reason, the word 'reincarnation' always manage to perk my interest for an anime.
I love the whole idea and the OST are great! Especially song by AKINO, well, she's sang most of the song for Sousei anyway. XD
I'm lost for word for this anime, but for anyone who feel like watching this anime, go ahed, you won't regret it, cause it got action, mecha, humor and romance, where romance plays a big role in this anime. XD

It is one of my favorite mechs, it has a vast variety of attacks, which makes it not as limited as military stuff. In terms of story, plot and all the good stuff, it is complex and deep; especially for mech anime standards

This series is excellent! Some of the CG falters in places, but I LOVE the way the mechs move (mostly the cherubs)! I found the storyline and the background work detailed and unique. Overall great! There were points were I got frustrated watching, but it pulled me in enough to care and really get excited about each and every situation!

Interesting development of event, the further fate of Apollo is especially extraordinary, present as well as romanticism so is a comedy, very frequent findings out of relations between heroes. And main it anime unforeseeable therefore to the last does not know what it will be in the end

Someone should have focussed on a better script for this anime; then maybe its potential wouldn't have been wasted by the randomness of some chapters. Although I have to admit it was funny to see a mecha on all fours, running around like a dog!
