Konatsu is an energetic high school girl who wants to sing, but
was rejected due to bad performance in the previous year. Wanting to spend her last year in high school with her heart
content, she forms her own choral club while recruiting other members.
One is her reluctant friend Sawa, whose mind is occupied with archery and equestrianism; her next
recruitment target is the music prodigy Wakana Sakai, who isn't
interested because of personal reasons. Two other students, sole member of the badminton club Taichi aiming for the national championship, and Vienna, a transfer
student from Austria who struggles from culture shock, also got mixed in her plan. With everyone aiming their dreams,
the last year in high school is about to get exciting.

The character design is really nice; coming from the same studio that did Hanasaku Iroha, this series was a joy to
watch. After thirteen episodes and a great run. While I can’t say TARI TARI was a tremendous masterpiece, it was at
least a darn great experience. The bottom line in the end is this: TARI TARI might not have been the most innovative
series, especially within its slice of life genre, but it did slice of life right and had more than enough charm for it
stand above other series of the same genre, as well as some other shows this season too. The cast ended up exceptionally
likable, despite a few rocky moments during their developmental periods. And as a character driven series, they really
bought the series to heights that even exceeded my initial, fairly high expectations. There are just aren’t many casts
(and series in general) on a daily basis that are this memorable, and I’m really going to miss this series.
And let’s not forget about the other aspects TARI TARI gave us, as the choir music and the subtle references and
commentary on life were also amazing bits that just resonated with real life events. It’s gotta be one of the first
times a slice of life has really hit the spot in terms of realism so personally, and it’s also probably a big part of
why I enjoyed TARI TARI so much. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for a slice of life series,
because if you give it a shot, who knows, you may just end up enjoying it as much as I did^^
One short anime but a satisfying one. I really like anime related to music, I really liked the song that they sing in the second episode, it was heart touching. Something like "Kaze no............." It was really worth watching. If you're interested in music you've gotta check this anime.
I liked this show more than I thought i would. The character depth is amazing on this show. I mean next to half the show was about Wakana and her mom. Wakana is still one of my favorite girls from any show. She just hit the spot for an anime girl to me. I'll rewatch in probably half a year or so.
