Nievedeichigo's Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 Tv Review
Rated:
you can feel the drama, pressure, bitterness, sadness, fear, of the characters, you know that all the story is about something serious, and the art, which some people call childish, is because is telling us a story where most of main characters are young: kids and teenagers. So it reflects every element perfectly.

This is one of the few animes that I gave the maximum score!
I mean, I don't understand why some ppl don't like the cartoons..
Look at the opening, is so great!
But yeah, I like the cartoons from Tokyo Magnitude!
Besides the story is so addictive, I was immediately grabbed from the first episode.
So yeah, this anime is awesome and educational.
By the end of the first episode, I had a strong urge to do very awful things to Mirai, the main character : she was such a whiny teenager, kind of a rebellious princess if you know what I mean. Besides, she was so mean to Yuuki, her little brother... However, those emotions were overcome by the events in the last minute of the very first episode : that huge earthquake was very shocking (even though you knew it was coming).
What kept me hooked to this series was the evolution of its characters (especialli Mirai's and her relation with Yuuki), its realism and the human drama so well-depicted. The major drawback, for me, was the characters design, a bit too childish for my taste.
mishia rated 1.00:I'm not a fan of the animation style, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the show. I've only seen a couple of episodes, but its brought tears to my eyes and I'm definitely interested in seeing it through.
