Ryuji Takasu was an "average" second year student who was mistaken to be a delinquent due to the pair of eyes he inherited from his father. This caused much misunderstanding to occur in his life in school. One day, he accidentally walks into Taiga Aisaka, who is also known as the "Palmtop Tiger" for having a very aggressive personality despite her smaller stature.

After a sequence of events, the two decided to help each other attain the hearts of their crushes. However, this partnership leads to an unexpected twist of events between the two and those around them.

Rated: 7

This series was slated as a 25-episode series, but I guess they wanted to maintain the 26-episode length that the anime world is notoriously known for, so they threw in a special as the 26th episode. Its obviously not an episode needing to be watched in regards to the main story so no need to bend over backwards to see it. Any how, theres alot of good things to say about the series but for a change of pace, I'mma head straight into the bad first.

Fact is there's nothing really standout-ish about this series aside from some pretty well written characters. Now some would say thats a good thing and why others would list this series as "perfect", but thats not correct. For a perfect series everything would stand out and make for a long discussion about each part.

A nice romatic comedy^^ Taiga just appearing in Ryuuji's house to get her love letter back after finding out she put it in the wrong bag was funny considering that the envelope was also empty. xD The interaction between Taiga and Ryuuji steadily became increasingly entertaining/interesting and funny to watch xD They're so cute together and it's nice to see a series delivers on the main couple being together instead of just implying or completely ignoring it^^ I would love to see a second season.

Cute animation and very well created intense characters. Set in a realistic way they show many sides of the problems one can encounter when falling in love. Lots of funny scenes and a bow tie ending. For sure this love story will keep catching the hearts of future anime lovers.

Taiga is overly needy, clingy and wanting to be taken care of. This was a turn off and just couldn't keep reading with that kind of main character. If you want someone like that, then go hire a butler/maid.

One of the best anime in slice of life genre. It's a mixture of comedy, romance, a bit of violence, ah!!! :3 it's just perfect.
I really like their couple.(Pardon me I always forget the characters' name.) The ending was really nice, at first when they decide to run away I was like WHAT??????????????!!!!!!!! but the way they tackle the problem was very mature and realistic, a lesson that anyone planning to elope should learn, KuKuKu!!!!!!!! I recommend this anime, to anyone who wants to laugh out.

I don't usually watch the romantic comedy genre of things but I enjoyed Toradora very much. People who are looking for a cute and love anime, this is the perfect show for you. I found that the story is unique, it starts nice and slowly. The attraction between Taiga and Ryuuji is what kept me watching because smiled much when watching this anime. XD Hm.. the animation is colorful and the characters are mostly well drawn and designed. I think the most attractive character is Taiga, who looks incredibly cute with her small body and thick brown hair. <3

I can't, for the love of me, finish this anime. I've tried several times but after the first 3 episodes I get so bored that I just quit. The characters didn't really catch my attention and the main protagonist's tsundere-ness gets really annoying, not to mention her violent behavior.

A nice love comedy, different from the usual mawkish series full of cliches. Beautiful characters, both primary and secondary ones, well characterized, whose change over the course of the series is evident. From the beginning, actually, you know how it will end, but everything happens in an unexpected way and to tell the truth ... I didn't like that much the last 3-4 episodes. Anyway, great series, without the usual speeches about love, without a minute of boredom, without obtuse or airhead characters you would like to kick; with intense feelings.

TAKASU RYUJI: "I'm a dragon. You're a tiger. Since ancient times, the dragon has been the only beast to equal the tiger. Even if you're not by my side right now, I will leap through space and time and always be by your side. These feelings will never change."

Super Cute Romantic Comedy that you will love for shore! X)
So "Toradora!" goes like this: Ryuuji is frustrated at trying to look his best cuz, despite his gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquen! He goes to school and is happy to find himself in the same class with his best friend Yuusaku and a girl he has a crush on, Minori Kushied. BUT, then he unexpectedly knocks into "the school's most dangerous animal of the highest risk level" Taiga! She is really a gerk in the beggining cuz she comes from a rich family but lives alone cuz of some issues...So she is living in an apartment next to Ryuuji's. When he discovers that Taiga has a crush on Yuusaku, and Taiga finds out about his crush on Minori, Ryuuji suggests that they cooperate.
AND AFTER EPISODES OF LAUGHING SO MUCH...
Ryuuji and Taiga start getting along and eventually they confess their true feelings of love to each other!! So CUTEEE! X)
ITS REALLY NICE AND A GOOD ANIME ;)

Another series I plan to buy one of these days. Toradora! is funny and very touching, and I loved how the relation between Taiga and Ryuuji evolved gradually, without them knowing exactly what's going on. The characters are lovable and are evolving as the series advances. Really, if you like romantic comedies, I recommend it to you!

I don't usually like romantic or slice-of-life series, but this one is just magnificent. I loved the ending, it was bittersweet but very realistic. All of the characters grew up, their time together was not wasted.

*,.....,* one of my favorite...
The story is so sweet and kind and you will never get tired of it.
It has moments overwhelmed with love, friendship, sadness, bitterness...
It touches your soul and heart. What to say more..I just liked it very much xD

Toradora! is a typical shoujo anime with a typical tsundere heroine. the story is really good && i honestly loved it though after watching it, it didn't really leave a big impact to me. Taiga is probably one of the really few tsunderes that i like (since i'm not really a fan of tsundere characters :P) and Takasu-kun, on the other hand, didn't really made my fave list though he is a nice guy. LOL. anyway, Toradora! is simply one of those romance-comedy shoujo series which turns out to be really predictable yet still very entertaining to watch(:

better than expected. not your average love story. main three female seiyuu very solid and strong performance, much life and insights were expressed in their artistic use of voice. allowing us to relate to the characters and their hardship they faced in story. our main male lead isn't any typical useless character, which is always a delighted sign of great story. his appearance maybe deceptive as his inner beauty shines and glows. the second male lead is equally important as story evolves. both male characters plus the three female interaction made a classic topic into a brilliant love story.

I pretty much enjoyed every episode, especially seeing it's not your everyday type of shoujo series! It's nice watching how Takasu Ryuuji and Aisaka Taiga developed romantic feelings for each other as the story continues. All in all, I really liked Toradora.

A romance-comedy story about a nice boy with scary eyes, Takasu Ryuuji; and a cute girl but short tempered and cruel, Aisaka Taiga. Together, they help each other to get their true love. But, will it work?
