Tywin Lannister Character

Tywin is the father of Jaime, Cersei and Tyrion, and patriarch figure of the Lannister family. He is often a man of few words, letting his imposing physical presence help him achieve what he wants; due to this, he is one of the few people Tyrion doesn't dare sass. Tywin treats his children coldly, sometimes even using him as tools to achieve his political goals. As much as he despises Tyrion and blames him for the death of his wife, he is still the only child that gets even remotely close to Tywin's level of political prowess.
