I used to watch some Slam Dunk episodes when I was a child and I wasn't attracted at all. When I bumped in with Vagabond, I was like: "Fuck sake! Who made this golden marvel?" Of course, I was shocked when I learned that it was the same person. Working on national historical chapters is always difficult, to write a historical novel with the right amount of realitiy and fiction about a certain character is even more difficult, to make a whole manga based on that very novel is quite a challenge and Inoue-sensei accepted it. To even look at every frame is a delight and the graphical descriptions of action and philosophy is truly a religious experience.
