Yami ni Tooboe Mune ni Toge Series
Tagged under Bohra Naono, Series.
Norito Oogami isn't too affectionate towards others, believing that
whenever he gets close to someone, that person will be struck by misfortune. One night, while walking home, Norito meets
a strange man who reveals the cause of this misfortune: the scar on Norito's chest, which represents a blood oath
between the man and his master. Even though Norito doesn't believe him at first, the two start getting closer to each
other, which proves very fortunate when more demons come after Norito's blood!
Sequel to Doku no Aji, which features the dragon Rakamu and his human lover, Maruu. Both this and "Doku no Aji" draw heavy influences from Babylonian
mythology.

This is a rare case where I loved the side characters more than the main ones, though it's all a matter of preference in the end. The mythological references and the action scenes are good, though I did want the mythology to be expanded more and maybe a more gradual introduction of the characters. As it is, the story feels rushed and crowded; perhaps it would have been better suited for a longer series instead of a single volume and a oneshot. The art is well done, but that's to be expected since it's Naono after all.
