One of the first animes I ever watched before i even knew what anime was. Classic old school anime. Watched it again recently and the dubbing seemed little silly, but that is usually the case with most animes. (I haven't seen the subbed version yet, so i don't know if it's any better but I imagine it is.) I still highly recommend this series to anyone gets a chance to watch it.
My very first anime that i've watched and i was in the 5th grade (and this is when i didn't know what ANIME was of course). Loved the mythological and elemental sources around the storyline. Though of course the art wasn't that great (since it was in the 80's) it was still very good for that time. This really captured the art and the true ways of the Samurai.
