Yuki Yoshihara's specialty is josei manga i.e. series aimed at young adult women, and the protagonists of her stories often end up being the opposite of the typical shoujo heroine: perverted, flawed, and definitely not afraid to explore their sexuality. Yoshihara herself can sometimes be spotted within her series and in short comics after chapters, with tongue-in-cheek comments towards herself (being "pregnant" with 4-month-old beer, always being late and panicking before deadlines) and a few words about what's going on in her life.
