I've researched some Wikipedia (and other) articles prior to watching this anime and thus I was aware of too much spoilers. >_< Nevertheless the story seemed exciting enough right from the start. Though at first it looked a bit too messed and unclear. I can't decide what I think about the main characters yet but I find them interesting and believable, and this can be applied to most of the other characters of this series.
The plot seems well planned (and is based on a manga again, as far as I can remember) and that makes me score Zetsuen no Tempest quite high. I hope I won't be disappointed.
The only thing that I dislike here is music. It is strange. But it somehow suites this anime so I am not giong to complain more. x)
And the graphics is very pleasant by the way.

The Kusaribe family is a family of sorcerers under the protection of the "Tree of Origins". Their princess, Hakaze Kusaribe, was the greatest sorceress of their family. But Samon Kusaribe, a member of their family seeking to resurrect the "Tree of World's End", a tree that opposes the "Tree of Origins" and controls the power of destruction, stuffs her into a barrel, and banishes her to a deserted island. From the deserted island, she sends a message out to sea, which is picked up by Mahiro Fuwa, a young boy who's sworn vengeance upon the criminal who killed his little sister, Aika. Mahiro agrees to help Hakaze under the condition that she find Aika's killer with her magic. But once Mahiro's best friend and Aika's lover, Yoshino Takigawa is rescued from danger, he too gets dragged into this tale of revenge.

"Time is out of Joint" this series is within logic or out of logic, that's the basic. while magic is almost about throwing fireballs at your enemies or zap them, Zetsuen no Tempest shows us a "logic" type of magic which is basically defending and healing yourself, not attacking others. it's definitely unique when it's brought like that. kudos to the Hamlet's and other Shakespear's quote throughout the series. The romance is there, but the plot has been falling gradually in the half end of the series.

This series has influences from Hamlet. Watched to see how the plot turns out. It's stayed true to the manga. Though it started to feel like it was going downhill after the middle of the series. And got really boring after it got close to the half-way point and from then on.

A unique n interesting anime. Kinda confusing, though. But we'll understand them if we watch all episodes. The chracters are likeable. It's about solving some mysteries like why n how Aika, the main character's girlfriend died. There is a lot of mystery here beside that. Just watch it if u r into complicated anime.

I really love Aika. She is such an intriguing character. Imperfect but so special. And she is sadly a dead character, we see her by her boyfriend's and brother's eyes. But they knew she wasn't really nice so theirs memories aren't about how wonderful she was.
Otherwise the anime's strong quality is the characters and their relationships, and an interesting plot (though the plot is weaker in the second part).

Best anime thats come out this year for sure!
my only regreat is that i didn´t watch it sooner XD but on the other hand i don´t think i could wait for each episode to come out each week..every episode left me wanting to know what would happen next.
+ i feel in love with the 3(*cough*4*cough*) main characters. Hakaze, Yoshiro & Mashiro are all well made characters..you cant help but love em XD there is also Aika-chan~ god she was badass too!
this gets an 10/10 from me *^*

So far a good anime, kind of confusing at times since the anime itself don't go to many details in the first five episodes which made the anime a bit boring to my taste but so far I am enjoying it. The secret around Aika and how she died, Hakaze's isolation and her mysterious "death". Each character kind of relates to one or two Shakespeare character and their tragedy. I will only give it an 8 since the anime has not finished airing, will edit it as soon as it's done.

it sounded interesting at first and the graphics are decent.
but after a few episodes it got boring and generic ):
I think i might have to do a double take on this in a later time
but right now it's not something I would be interested to spend time on unless I'm super bored u_u

I'm really looking forward to see the whole thing animated. The corresponding manga is cool! and I hope the anime will also. The setting is original and the characters are all likeable. The series only has started but looks good till now. I will definitively watch it through to see some more awesomeness from Yoshino and Mahiro and looking forward to discover the mystery about Aikas death. It's rare to see so well balanced main charas plus the hamlet quotations add a nice sense of foreshadowing.
