I watched the original version from the 70's, when they knew how to exploit human emotions classicaly! Gee, every chapter was crueler than the last one, wasn't it? I mean, how much punishment can that kid take? Actually, the whole thing was brilliant (hurtful like a bitch... but brilliant non the less). Now a remake? Hummm... these smells like a pitiful disaster.
