The character design fits for the manga. There's nice comedy here between Rokuro and Benio. There's also plenty of action. Arima, the head of the Exorcists and Tsuchimikado Clan is so funny xD But Rokuro is such a damn cliche...
As far as the anime goes, Studio Pierrot putting shit in a blender, screwing it up and tossing in new shit that never existed in the source material for no real reason...
