Motoya Maizuru, though not famous, is regarded as an excellent investigator by his peers. All the cases he is given, he is able to solve. However, this success comes from touch-telepathy, which is both his blessing and curse. Together with his assistant Toki Nagakawa, he runs his own detective agency and occasionally helps out his police investigator friend, Hajime Yamashita. Hajime is the only one who knows about Motoya's power and is his only close friend, so eventually Toki starts getting jealous of this closeness between the two.
