A saucy story with a cheeky sense of humour. This is about the lives of Makoto and Yura; newlyweds in an arranged marriage. Makoto is an average office worker and Yura a housewife, and both of them are inexperienced with the opposite sex. The story revolves around how they overcome various problems in the bedroom and the funny situations that the couple get into.

I believe that anime should either be a movie or OVAs after a series or a 24-26 episode anime series and anymore than that be split into 24-26 episodes per season. Futari Ecchi breaks that with 4 "OVAs", or really just episodes. 4 episodes only? I'm sorry, but that doesn't cut it and it doesn't do the manga any justice. Everything felt rushed with the first 2 episodes and the last episode did not really end the series well. Other than that, the series is portrayed nicely and funny and was enjoyable after all.
